FAQ
When do the Store Coins arrive?
The moment a payment goes through. Premium pays 2,000 Store Coins and Elite pays 10,000, every time the subscription renews — automatically or paid by hand, it makes no difference, because it is the renewal that pays rather than a date in the calendar. Elite Lifetime pays 100,000 once, when it starts, and then 5,000 every month after that. Store Coins pay for anything in the store, on their own or alongside your Time Coins; help on Exchange Place is only ever paid in Time Coins.
What happens when I cancel or move down a plan?
Nothing, until the plan you have paid for runs out. Moving down changes what your membership RENEWS as; it does not take anything away today. You keep every benefit you have paid for until the term ends, and on that day you land on the plan you asked for. Nothing is charged and nothing is refunded.
Can I change my mind after asking to move down?
Yes, any time before it takes effect. Your current plan shows the day it would change and a "Keep this plan" button beside it. Paying for a plan again cancels a waiting change outright.
How does upgrading work, and what is the credit?
One month of what you already pay comes off the price of the plan you are moving to. Elite at $25 a month moving to Elite Lifetime at $250 pays $225. The checkout shows the whole sum before you pay, and the upgrade takes effect the moment it clears — there is no waiting for the month to end when you are moving up.
* What does Lifetime mean?
Lifetime means for as long as Help Barter exists. It is paid once and never needs renewing.
Does Elite Lifetime ever renew or run out?
No. It is one payment. There is nothing to renew, nothing to cancel, and no card details are kept after it clears. It gives you everything Elite does, permanently, and holds up to 25 Elite Works listings at once instead of 20.
What is the difference between monthly and annual?
The price, and nothing else — every benefit is identical. Premium is $15 a month or $120 for a year instead of $240. Elite is $25 a month or $180 for a year instead of $360. A year pays twelve months of Store Coins up front, on the day it clears.
How am I charged?
By card or PayPal balance, at the checkout, through PayPal or Razorpay. Your payment details go straight to them — Help Barter never sees them and stores nothing but the payment reference.
Does a monthly plan renew automatically?
Yes, when you pay with a PayPal account. Monthly Premium and Elite renew by themselves every month at the plan price, with a new invoice and your Store Coins each time. Turn auto-renewal off whenever you like from this page — the month you have paid for runs to its end and nothing is refunded. Paying by card needs no PayPal account and covers the month or year you pay for; annual plans and Razorpay payments do not renew by themselves either — renew them from here when the time comes.
What is the free conversation cap?
A free member can start 25 conversations and be reached by 100. Nothing expires and nothing resets — once you have used them, any paid plan lifts the cap. What you say inside a conversation is never counted, and reading messages is never limited, so you cannot lose a conversation somebody started with you.
What happens to my Elite Works listings if I stop paying?
They are hidden, never deleted. An Elite listing stops appearing the day the subscription lapses and comes straight back the day it is renewed. Work already under way carries on — nobody halfway through a job is stranded by a lapsed subscription.
