Elite Works
Bigger jobs posted by Elite members, paid in Time Coins or in money.
What it is
Elite Works is where bigger jobs are posted. Elite members list a piece of work — writing a series of posts, testing an app, transcribing interviews — with a brief, how many hours it takes and a deadline. Premium and Elite members apply, the lister picks who does it, and the work is paid in Time Coins or in money.
For workers it is the best-paid work on the site. For businesses it is a way to hire many people at once without a recruitment agency.
The two kinds of work
| Double Coins Work | Paid Elite Works | |
|---|---|---|
| The worker gets | 400 Time Coins per job — double an ordinary help | Money, at the lister's rate, paid directly by PayPal or Stripe |
| Who pays | The lister, from their own wallet | The lister, outside Help Barter |
| Who confirms | The lister confirms the work | The worker confirms "Payment received" |
| Confirms itself | Yes, if the lister stays silent | Never — only the worker knows money arrived |
Doing Elite work: step by step
- Open Elite Works
Exchange Place → Elite Works. Switch between coin work, paid work or both.
- Press "What is the work"
The full brief is posted into a conversation with the lister, and you are taken there.
- Read the brief, then press "I am interested"
It sits under the brief. Applying needs a Premium or Elite membership.
- Wait for the lister to decide
They may select you, keep you pending ("still in the running") or say not this time. You are told either way.
- Selected? Press "Start work"
On a coin job, the 400 coins are held from the lister's wallet the moment you start, so the money is there.
- Do the work by the deadline, then "Mark work done"
- Get paid
Coin work: the lister confirms and 400 Time Coins are yours. Paid work: see below.
How paid work is settled
- Share your payment details
Once you have delivered, a Share payment details box appears for you — your PayPal email or Stripe payment link. It goes into the conversation as your own message; Help Barter never stores it.
- The lister pays you and presses "Payment sent"
- You press "Payment received"
That is what completes the job. It never completes itself.
- Not paid? Contest it
Your contest goes on the lister's public record. A lister with 7 unresolved non-payment contests has their listings taken off the board.
Posting Elite work: step by step
- Be on Elite or Elite Lifetime
See Membership.
- Open Elite Listings → Post a listing
Write a title and a full brief, the hours it takes, the deadline and how many people you want.
- Choose the kind
Double Coins Work (400 Time Coins per job from your wallet), or Paid Elite Works with your rate, currency and how you pay (PayPal or Stripe). The kind and the number of places cannot change later — people apply on those terms.
- Submit it
Admin team monitors all listings. Listings cost no coins; your plan includes them.
Picking people
- Up to 100 members can apply to each listing, and you can pick up to 25 of them.
- For each applicant: Select for work, Keep pending or Not this time — from the conversation or from the listing's page.
- Somebody you selected who has not started after 24 hours can be recalled, which frees the place.
- If work is contested you can bring in a replacement — up to 5 per listing.
- On coin work, check your balance: each hire needs 400 Time Coins available when they start.
Limits and good to know
- Elite holds up to 20 active listings at once; Elite Lifetime 25. Deactivating a listing frees its place.
- A live listing can be edited 3 times free, then 1,000 coins each. Rate and hours can only change before anybody applies.
- The work you are doing is on Elite Works List & Progress.
