What it is
An article the whole community can read, at its own address — /post/your-headline — and on the Featured Posts board. A how-to guide, a story about your work, an event, news from your town.
What it does for you
- Shows what you know — the best advertisement for a skill is a useful article about it.
- Read by people anywhere — posts are not sorted by distance, because an article is read, not visited.
- A page search engines can find, with your name on it and links where you want readers to go.
- A view count, so you can see it was read.
What goes in a post
- A headline and a main picture.
- The article, written in the editor — headings, bold, lists, links and pictures inside the text.
- A category from a fixed list (with "Something else" for anything that fits none).
- Up to 3 tags in your own words.
Your location is taken from your profile, so readers can filter the board by country.

Pay in Store Coins, Time Coins or both. Buying in the store needs a Premium or Elite membership. "Lifetime" means for as long as Help Barter exists.
Step by step: from buying to live
- Open it in the store
Store → Featured Post. The page shows what is included and every run on offer.
- Choose how long, and buy
Pick a run, pick how to pay (Store Coins, Time Coins or both) and confirm. You now hold one Featured Post credit — nothing is public yet.
- Write it
Go to My listings and press List a featured post. Write the headline, choose a picture and a category, then write the article. Writing costs nothing more: your credit pays for it.
- Submit it for review
Admin team monitors all listings. You can still change a listing for free while it waits.
- It goes live
You get a notification, and it appears on the Featured Posts board and at /post/your-headline for the run you bought, counted from the day it is approved.
Once it is live
- Edit it from My listings. The first 3 edits are free, then 1,000 coins each. Every edit is read again; your live version keeps showing while it waits.
- Extend it before or after it ends — the new run is added to the time left, never restarted.
- Deactivate it to take it down for a while, and reactivate it later. The run keeps counting down while it is off.
A post's address never changes, even if you edit the headline — anyone who already shared it still lands on it. Edits to a live post are read before they show; the published version stays up meanwhile.
