Offer Help

Find a member who needs help, offer it, and earn Time Coins.

What it is

Offer Help lists members who would like some help. You pick somebody you can help, offer 15 minutes, and earn 200 Time Coins when they confirm the work is done.

Why do it: the coins pay for help you need later, every completed help builds your public track record, and the members who help the most different people each week win a prize on the leaderboard.

Step by step

  1. Open Offer Help

Exchange Place → Offer Help. Read the skills and bios to find something you are good at.

  2. Press "Offer to help"

A conversation opens with your opening message and a request card on it.

  3. Press "Interested"

On the card. This tells them you are ready.

  4. They press "Accept help request"

You are told by a notification.

  5. Press "Start work"

Their 200 Time Coins are held and you have 24 hours. You get a reminder an hour before the deadline.

  6. Do the work, then press "Mark work done"

Send what you made in the conversation first, so they can check it.

  7. They confirm, and you are paid

200 Time Coins land in your wallet.

The three buttons, and why there are three

Interested → Accept help request → Start work. You approached them, so the work only begins once they have said yes — nobody's coins are held for help they did not ask for. Once you press Start work the clock runs.

Limits and good to know

  • One open offer per person: until that help is finished or called off, their card reads "Already offered" and links to the conversation.
  • Free members can complete 10 helps a month and have 3 under way at once. Premium and Elite have no monthly limit and 10 at once. The monthly limit is checked when work starts, never when it finishes, so you are never left unpaid.
  • Everything you have offered is on Already Offered List & Progress.
