Image Ad

What it is

A square picture with your link, shown beside every Featured Post on the site — three at a time in the sidebar. It has no page and no board of its own: it is seen by everybody reading an article.

What it does for you

• In front of readers, not just people looking for ads.
• Every ad gets its fair share: the least-shown ad is always shown next, and readers see ads from their own region and country first.
• One click to your website.

What you provide

• A square image — make the text big enough to read at a small size.
• A short title, and the link the picture goes to.

What it costs

Pay in Store Coins, Time Coins or both. Buying in the store needs a Premium or Elite membership. "Lifetime" means for as long as Help Barter exists.

Step by step: from buying to live

1. Open it in the store

   Store → Image Ad. The page shows what is included and every run on offer.

2. Choose how long, and buy

   Pick a run, pick how to pay (Store Coins, Time Coins or both) and confirm. You now hold one Image Ad credit — nothing is public yet.

3. Write it

   Go to My listings and press Place an image ad. Upload the square picture and add your link. Writing costs nothing more: your credit pays for it.

4. Submit it for review

   Admin team monitors all listings. You can still change a listing for free while it waits.

5. It goes live

   You get a notification, and it appears in the sidebar of every Featured Post for the run you bought, counted from the day it is approved.

Once it is live

• Edit it from My listings. The first 3 edits are free, then 1,000 coins each. Every edit is read again; your live version keeps showing while it waits.
• Extend it before or after it ends — the new run is added to the time left, never restarted.
• Deactivate it to take it down for a while, and reactivate it later. The run keeps counting down while it is off.
